Our Easter Fun!

The Easter Bunny found the kids in Caldwell! We came home with so much candy that I had to send some of it to school with Cory so we wouldn't eat it all! Cory's Mom, Kathy, puts together an awesome Easter Egg Hunt every year for all the kids, big and small - complete with about 170 eggs filled with money and candy! She also puts together an Easter goodie bag or basket filled with stuff for each of us and hides them inside the house. We also dye some Easter eggs every Easter. Kaleb and Cambree are getting really good at it, although Cambree had a few roll onto the floor and crack into a hundred pieces. She just said, "That's okay!" She just wanted to put stickers on all of them. She didn't care about all the cracks. We always have a great time!

Our Weekend in Caldwell

For Easter weekend, we went to Caldwell to stay at Angie & Chad's house. Most of Cory's side of the family was there (except for Kendall) and we had a great time! On Friday, the guys went fishing, so the girls took Kaleb & Cambree to Boondocks! We had a lot of fun!

To celebrate our St. Patrick's Day at home, I made a game for the kids. Cory punched out a bunch of 3-leaf clovers at the school and then I cut out ten 4-leaf clovers. I spread them all over the living room floor and Kaleb and Cambree searched through them. Kaleb found the lucky 4-leaf ones really fast; Cambree on the other hand had a tough time finding them. When they found a 4-leaf clover, they brought it to me (I guess I was the leprechaun!) and I gave them a chocolate gold coin for each one. It was fun and we got to eat chocolate! YEA!

I am SOOO tired of winter!

I woke up this morning and told Kaleb that when it warmed up today that we could go for a walk to our mailbox. He said, "But it snowed again, Mom." He had me come look out the window and sure enough - it had snowed enough to cover all the spots that had previously melted. I about cried!! I want Spring to come soo bad! I am so tired of sitting in the house! The kids and I have tried to have some fun snow days, but we can only trek up the sled hill so many times before that wears us out! Cambree cries when her hands get cold, so I end up having to take her into the house. I think this has been the longest Winter EVER! I wouldn't be surprised if we end up hunting Easter eggs in the snow!
