It's winter in IDAHO
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love IDAHO
when the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave IDAHO anyway
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!

Isaac With His Namesake
A Few Random Pics!
Lil' Miss Sassafrass
Lock 'Em Up & Kiss 'Em Goodbye!
Isaac has this little shirt that says:

Well I was trying to explain the meaning of this shirt to my kids who are 4 & 5 years old! I told them that it meant that girls would think that Isaac is so cute that they would want to marry him. Kaleb said, "But babies can't get married! They don't know how to KISS!"

All Three
My Genius
I have to post this story because it is classic Cambree. She has always been such a little comedian!
The other day when I stopped at our mailbox to get our mail, I also got my parent's mail out of their box so we could deliver it to their house (next door.) I sent Cambree with the mail to the front door and she knocked and rang the doorbell, but nobody answered. So she ran around to the garage and went in. When she came back out, she didn't have the mail anymore and came and got in the van. We started driving towards our house and I said, "So did Grandpa finally answer the door?" She said, "No, both doors were locked." So I asked her, "Well where did you put the mail then?!?" She proudly said, "I just put it on the steps in the garage." Then she says to me, "Mom, sometimes I think I'm a genius!" I busted out laughing! Now, that's been our little joke around the house for a few days. I'm sure reading this on the blog does not do the punch-line justice because it was the way she said it that made it soooo funny!

Little Rebel
So if you remember clear back to my 20 week ultrasound pictures in June, the tech captured a funny little hand gesture that it looked like Isaac was doing in utero. I titled the post "My Rebel Baby," Well my sister, Kellie, found this shirt and had to get it for him. Today after Cory gave Isaac a bath, he came and showed me that he had combed his hair into a mohawk. (Yes, can you believe that CORY would do that?!?!) So I hurried and got the shirt so we could take his picture! This one's for you, Kell!
Check Out These Cheeks!

This boy has decided that he likes this eating thing! Since we are at his 1 month birthday, I decided to take Isaac to the post office and our post lady was nice enough to use the mail scale to weigh him. (Thanks Patti!) He now weighs 9 pounds!! Since his 2 week Dr's appt, he's gained 2 pounds in 2 weeks!

I love this last picture because I had just given him a bath and his hair was all crazy!
Ready to go..
I took these pictures when we were ready to go to town. Isaac hasn't been in a store yet - he gets to take turns in the car with Mom and Dad. He is already growing out of some of his cute newborn outfits so I've been trying to get some pictures of him wearing them before they have to go in the too small box!

Bath Time!
Kaleb and I gave Isaac his first bath in the baby tub a couple days ago. He was so good and seemed to actually like it! Kaleb got to wash him while I held him up in the tub a little bit.

Of course the highlight to giving Isaac a bath is that my helper gets to comb his hair at the end!
We took Isaac to his two week appointment yesterday and he was up to 7 pounds and 20 1/4 inches! SO he's gained a little more than a pound since he was born! Growing like a little weed!

Pumpkins

All the fun of carving pumpkins! Gooey, stringy, stinky guts of a pumpkin. And yes, Cory really did take a bite! Kaleb and Cambree decided to try it too and LIKED IT! They were eating the seeds right out of the pumpkin and I had to tell Cambree to stop eating the "lid" of hers so that it wouldn't fall through the hole in the top!!

And the cutest punkin' of all...
Halloween
We had a fun Halloween and the kids got lots of candy! For some (still unknown) reason, Kaleb decided that he did not want to go Trick-or-Treating, so Cory took Cambree out around Hamer and the rest of us stayed home to hand out candy to the kids that came to our house. Here are the pictures of our costumes...
