Summer Baseball

This summer, Cambree was old enough to play Tee-Ball. Kaleb was also in the Tee-Ball age group, but he would have been a year older than the little ones that signed up to play. So since he has been practicing hitting a ball being pitched to him, Cory asked to have him just play on the Pee-Wee team with the 6-8 year olds. He did just as well as the other kids on his team, so we were glad we got him moved up.
Cambree only wore the helmet once! It was bigger than she is!

Every week when it was time for Baseball, I had to convice Cambree that she was going to play. She was so excited in the beginning, but then wasn't quite sure about wanting to play after she did it a couple of times. Once we got there and she got going, she did pretty good. She just didn't like to get "sweaty." Here's how she thought would be the best way to play 3rd base:

Kaleb was a lot more outgoing this year about playing. The first year he played when he was 3, he just clung to my leg and we always had to run the bases with him or else he wouldn't do it. Now he punches his fist in his mitt, just waiting for the ball to come to him:

He really liked the batting part, but not so much the running part!

My Rebel Baby

During my ultrasound when I was 20 weeks (on June 4), the ultrasound tech kept slapping and pushing on my belly because our baby was face down and she couldn't get the measurements that she needed. She printed out about 10 pictures for us and when I got looking at them afterwards, I saw this picture. Now I'm not sure which finger he is holding up, but I think he must have been using some sign language to tell the tech to quite pushing him around! Of course I won't tolerate him using that kind of hand gesture once he's here, but I think it's hilarious in this ultrasound picture!

Apple Blossoms

My Mom and Dad have this apple tree in their yard and it was so pretty this year with all of it's pink blossoms. So I had Cambree sit up in the tree so I could take her picture. We had to dodge a few bees, but she loved being up there in all the flowers!

Kaleb & Cannon

I had to share this picture because I think it is so extremely cute! This was taken at Kaleb's party.

Kaleb's Birthday - May 23

(This post is a little overdue!) Kaleb celebrated his 5th birthday with a swimming party at Apple Athletic Club in Idaho Falls. He invited his cousins to swim, eat pizza and cake, and have fun! We had a hard time getting Kaleb out of the pool to open his presents! It was a great party and he got a lot of fun things to use this summer including a kid's baseball pitching machine, pool toys, a cooler to take his lunch when he is farming with Dad and Grandpa, and his first fly rod. Happy Birthday Kaleb! We Love You!

Yee-Haw!!

My nephew, Landon, had his 3rd Birthday Party at Grandma & Grandpa's house so that he could have a Farm / John Deere Party. Kellie asked Stephanie (Twitchell) Telford to bring her miniature horses so that the kids could all ride them. Steph has a little business called Mini Memories that she brings her mini-horses to birthday parties, family reunions, school events, etc. She'll even sell ya one if you want one for your own! I think Cambree stayed on a horse the entire time! She didn't want to get off! I guess we have a little cowgirl on our hands! The last picture is of Kaleb all tuckered out after the party. The balloon says it all!!

Cambree's Getting Some Practice...

Cambree got to get some baby holding practice with Kellie's baby, Cannon. (He is 2 months old in this picture.) She wanted to hold him even after he started to cry. She says she is going to feed our baby, change the diapers, and be Mommy's helper. She's so excited to big a BIG SISTER!
