Our New Pet

No, we didn't get something small like dog or a fish. Cory decided to get the kids a horse. A full size horse. We got him from a family in our ward that didn't ride him anymore, but he is old enough that he just came to retire at our house. He's 23 years old and is a true kid's horse. We've had him for 2 days and the kids are so excited to see him and ride him. They feed him carrots and apples and brush him. The good thing is that Kaleb and Cambree are NOT afraid of him. The bad thing is that Kaleb and Cambree are NOT afraid of him!! (Can that be good AND bad? YES!)We've had to have some quick lessons on not walking behind and under him, not to touch his flank, to watch your fingers when you feed him, etc. I'm sure he will get plenty of attention around here! Oh - and his name is APACHE.
